Color forecasters have come out with a diverse list of interior color selections for 2016. Let's take a look at some of this kaleidoscopic array from subdued to psychedelic. Please comment on your own 2016 color forecasts!

Color forecaster "Design Options" created this opulent & rich palette of deep hues reminiscent of travels to Morocco. Color influences of Zillij tiles, vibrant paisley prints, and the exotic world of the souks.

The color gurus at Pottery Barn and their parent company, Williams-Sonoma, are masters at hitting it on the money with American consumers.

Dallas style maven, Shelly Rosenberg, wrote an informative trend article in the latest issue of "Paper City"..."Pastel Balance, Black & Mixed Metals." Pantone's two 2016 colors of the year, "Rose Quartz, and Serenity" are featured.

Pantone featured 9 directional palettes for 2016. "Natural Forms" is earthy, rustic and warm.

Pantone's "Dichotomy" is an interesting mix of blues, greens & yellow.

Pantone's "Emphemera" palette is light, airy and pastel hued.

Pantone's "Merriment" palette is a joyful & vibrant mix of hues of greens, blues,
 yellow, contrasting pinks & oranges.

Footloose" is a 2016 directional palette based on the colors of vacations & travel.

Behr Paint breaks away from blah colorations with bold and saturated hues. I love the painted table lamps made from Burmese offering containers.

We finish our 2016 color journey with Benjamin Moore's color of the year...."Simply White"

I hope you enjoyed this excursion in 2016 forecast color palettes. It will be interesting to see what hues end up being adopted by industry & the consumer. You may have some great ideas on 2016 colors so share them with a comment.
