TRENDING: OFFICES FOR CREATIVES

Offices of creative people have always been a fascination of mine. Let us peek into private worlds where one's creative juices are able to roam free, and where thoughts can soar. Nike CEO, Mark Parker's office, is a fantasy of his personal collections and of course,...Nike shoes.

Fashion designer, Kimora Lee Simmons' office, is cool & sleek with a wonderful purple rug.

Busy & creative minds often translate to messy offices like William F. Buckley's above.

I share the home office with my creative wife Marla. It's our place to unwind and meditate among our books and maps of faraway places.

Interior designer Celerie Kemble's office is stacked with design books for inspiration.

The home office in the "Flight House" by Sage Architects in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains is a visual wonder!

Dallas interior designer, Denise McGaha, is working on a creative project in her office.

A home office in Singapore is inside,...and outside.

A small space in a Singapore high-rise is turned into an office with a view.

I would love a fabulous office view like in this modern home in West Vancouver Canada. The big question is whether I could ever keep it neat!

Speaking of neat, in the office of Joline Weiss, my creative mentor for many years at Wesco Fabrics, everything was put away daily before she  left work. She was very obsessive about organization!

This is a photograph of Steve Jobs home office. His office on the 3rd floor of Apple's headquarters is virtually untouched and still has a plaque on the door with his name on it.

I love the layout of interior designer Kathryn Tyler's office.

Often artistic people have home offices and studios as creative as their designs. This is the eclectic studio of artist Alphonse Mucha. He created many fabulous Art Nouveau posters.

What an amazing office view. This office on Pender Island in Canada was designed by Marko Simcic and Brian Boster.

Yves Saint Laurent's office in Paris is fascinating! Can you imagine this creative genius dreaming up his new creations at his desk?

Commercial offices have evolved from closed doors and cubicles to open style design. It will be fascinating to see where it goes next! This looks a little cramped for my style!
